Internship Programme
The Summer Internship Programme is offered to our students and provides a structured opportunity to gain real-world experience during the summer break through 2-week placements in professional environments.
Programme Purpose
The programme is designed to connect school learning with practical application, helping students develop essential skills such as responsibility, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. It also supports students in exploring potential career interests and strengthening their readiness for future studies and employment.
Student Experience
Students engage in guided work-based placements where they apply knowledge gained in school, build confidence, and develop independence in a real working environment. The experience encourages initiative, adaptability, and personal growth.
Supervision and Support
Internships are hosted and supervised directly by the participating companies, which provide students with on-site guidance, mentoring, and structured tasks throughout the placement.
Coordination
The programme was initiated in 2024 by our teachers (Mr. Kyriakos Karmiotis and Mrs. Marya Sphicas) with the support of school management and participating companies. The coordinating teachers organise placements, liaise with companies, and support students throughout the process, ensuring smooth implementation and educational value.

Outcomes
By the end of the programme, students gain valuable hands-on experience, improved employability skills, and a clearer understanding of their future academic and career pathways. The internship also provides meaningful experience that students can include in their CVs and when applying to universities, supporting their future studies and employment opportunities. In addition, students receive a certificate of participation upon completion of the programme.
